Beer Me!

Beer selection in Korea is almost nonexistent. Especially anything with flavor. So..we have decided to take matters into our own hands, and make our own! Zack has found a group of people online, who live in Korea, that have made a website dedicated to this very task. So with a little help from our new beer drinking friends, they have ordered everything for us that we needed to get started.

The whole process really isn't too complicated, you just have to be very patient and thorough.

Here is the yeast getting to know each other and looking forward to becoming beer!

Here is Zack with everything we need on the table, preparing to make beer! (water, hops, a scale, malt)

Here are the hops floating in bags, flavoring the water and malt.

Here is Zack swishing around the beer in the bucket, getting
it ready for fermentation.

After a few weeks in the bucket, it's time for bottling!

Putting on the bottle caps!

The finished product! Hey! It actually looks and TASTES like real beer!
Who'da thunk?!

We haven't come up with a "brewery" name yet. We're still working on it, and trying to think of a theme that our beer is based on. So far we've brewed 3 batches and each one is getting better and better!
